Tax Return Questions
What Documents Do You Need?
Your W-2s, 1099s, Form 1098 for mortgage interest, records of any estimated payments, and last year's return. We'll send a checklist through the client portal, and you can upload everything there securely.
When Should I Send Everything?
As soon as your forms arrive, usually by mid-February. Returns received after early April may need an extension, which gives you more time to file but not more time to pay.
Can You Check a Return I Did with AI?
Yes. That's what Second Look is for. It costs less than full preparation, and you get a written memo of what we found.
Do You Help with IRS Letters?
Yes. Notice Protection, $15 a month, covers IRS and state letters on returns we prepared. Letters on other returns are quoted separately.
